Testimonials

| Lisa Nowers and Jill Strawhacker are the lead
teachers and co-directors of the program. They work
collectively in planning curriculum content,
structuring daily activities, and guiding parents in
the classroom. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Dakota and previously taught elementary school in Minnesota. She has been a teacher at Adventures since 2000. Jill earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Teaching Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten Children, Early Childhood Education and a minor in Family Services. Jill has taught preschool, kindergarten, and Head Start, as well as held positions as assistant director and director of child care programs. Lisa and Jill have been involved at preschool as cooperative parents, board members, and substitute teachers.
