What Does HHS Licensing Mean?
Iowa HHS licensing ensures that child care programs maintain high standards of care and comply with state regulations designed to protect children’s health, safety, and wellbeing. Licensed centers receive at least one unannounced monitoring visit annually from HHS consultants, and our license is renewed every two years to ensure continued compliance with all requirements.

Child Care Assistance (CCA) Provider
We are proud to accept Child Care Assistance, making quality early childhood education accessible to more families in our community. Child Care Assistance is available to income-eligible parents who are working, attending school, or participating in approved training programs.
How CCA Works
If you qualify for Child Care Assistance:
- CCA is available for children under age 13 (or under 19 for children with special needs)
- Payment goes directly from the state to our program
- Families pay a co-payment based on income and family size
- We handle all billing and coordination with HHS

Regular Oversight & Inspection
Our program undergoes:

- Fire safety inspections by the State Fire Marshal
- Ongoing monitoring of compliance with all licensing standards
